A + B BURGER
A & B Burgers serves casual family affair, award winning burgers, salads and small plates in a vibrant area of Boston. The restaurants large overhead doors provide expansive views of the Zakim Bridge, Lovejoy Wharf, TD garden and is adjacent to the historic North station. The 3,600 square foot restaurant consist of 165 seats with a multitude of seating arrangements including a 50-seat patio. The open-air space is grounded by a 46’ concrete top bar.
THE A+B DESIGN TEAM
Upland Architects and StudioTyak collaborated on this project, the second in A&B’s portfolio. In order to streamline the process, the team simultaneously formed multiple design schemes and finish palettes, while generating place of assembly and life safety plans. Boston Showcase company worked out the kitchen design with the owner Thomas Holland and C3 engineering integrated the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection elements into the existing buildings infrastructure.
