Bertucci’s restaurants are firing up brick ovens from New England to Virginia, each reflecting the passion for authentic Italian cooking, as well as the unique character and charm of every local community. Like the original, their kitchen is still open, the food is still made to order and their hospitality is still top priority. Upland has a long history with Bertucci's and with that 20 year relationship we feel like family. (the first cousin, not the drunk uncle).
THE SHORT ORDER COOK
Like a short order cook, you have to prepare a lot of things quickly and at one time. Being able to listen to what the customer wants and produce accordingly is key. Over the many years, Upland has teamed with Bertucci's preparing designs and construction documents on many re-image programs, kitchen remodels, new builds..the occasional new test concept, as well as helping with ADA evaluations and lighting upgrades. Upland listens and understands the challenges the restaurant faces so obtaining permits quickly and working with the GC during construction eliminates the bad taste of down time.
